Romans to the north of Erring?

I am calling for an emergency council of chieftains..........

This may be them starting hovel sites on wilderness boards and then if they do happen to kill a barbarian it completes the hovel and turns the board red, and not them actually intending on settling the board. Even if this is the case, it's not a good thing. The boards need to be scouted and see what is being built.

As far as i know romans can't build hovels. I think the only reason these boards are blue is because a roman had completed patrols on them, which really means very little. I think at the end of the game day it should reset although im not sure.

Some of the Red is gone but the squares that were once blue are now gray.

Erring still looks like an island.

I thought the romans could change a boards colour by completing patrols, maybe these colour changes round erring are due to that?
